Alcohol Sales & Age Verification Policy

You must be aged 18 or over to purchase any hamper containing alcohol from us. Before placing an order you will be asked to confirm that you are aged 18 or over, and orders cannot be completed without that confirmation.

It is an offence to buy or attempt to buy alcohol if you are under 18, or to buy alcohol on behalf of someone under 18.

We may verify your age before your order is dispatched. Where we cannot satisfy ourselves that the purchaser is aged 18 or over, we may request proof of age (such as a passport, driving licence or PASS-accredited card) before the order is released.

Alcohol-containing hampers must be received by someone aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be requested upon delivery, and alcohol will not be handed over where the recipient’s age cannot be verified. Please make sure someone aged 18 or over is available to receive the delivery.

If we cannot verify the age of the purchaser before dispatch, the order will not be released and we will contact you. If age cannot be verified on delivery, the hamper cannot be handed over and will be returned to us. In either case we will refund the order, less any delivery costs we have reasonably incurred.

We deliver alcohol-containing hampers within the UK only. Delivery is not available on Sundays or bank holidays, and estimated delivery dates are shown before you pay. See our Delivery & Returns page for full details.

Lawrence & Co Group Ltd (trading as Lawrence & Co.) sells alcohol under a premises licence granted by the relevant licensing authority for our premises in Cheltenham, England. Licensing details are available on request — email hello@lawrenceandcogifts.com.
